Meh, underwhelming and disappointed
I purchased this in twin size for my 3 year old. I reaaaaally wanted to love this mattress, especially being a Canadian company and the fact that there was no off-gassing! When it arrived it took a few days to expand so let it sit for a bit, and it did have a faint factory smell to it, but nothing as bad as other foam mattresses (I also own a Douglas mattress that had awful off-gassing). Unfortunately this mattress is just too thin. If you sit in the middle of the bed, the 4 corners do not stay flat and they curl up. If you sit on the edge of the bed, the mattress edge compresses almost all the way, and you are sitting on the hard bedframe at that point (I’m about 120 lbs). I would have tried the 10” foam mattress from Haven next, but the return process with this company has been really painfully long and dragged out unfortunately. Hoping to guide someone in the right direction to go for the thicker foam mattress from Haven, or for the price point of $900 for the twin size thicker foam, I’d just go with an organic mattress company like Avocado. My one star is for the No off-gassing, and the second star is for them being Canadian and working on being eco-friendly and working with Second Slumber to find my mattress a new home instead of going to the landfill.

When sitting on the mattress, your body weight is focused in a small area, making it challenging to design a 6" mattress firm enough to support that use without it being too firm once laid on and your body weight is more spread out. We offer thicker options for customers who prefer more support, and we'll take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our product offerings.
I hope that your 3 year old was able to sleep well on the mattress at night as we've seen great reviews from folks who have similar aged children. If we could find a way to offer the same sitting comfort as the 10" Lux Rejuvenate at this price point without compromising the qualify of our materials we would.
I recognize that the return process may have been inconvenient, and apologize for any frustration it may have caused you. However, we're committed to providing sustainable and eco-friendly solutions, which is why we partner with Second Slumber to find new homes for our returned mattresses.
